Refund Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-05

1. Summary

We offer a 14-day no-questions-asked refund on the first paid period of any new MemPalace Cloud subscription. After that, paid periods are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. This policy applies to both consumers and business customers and runs in parallel with any statutory right of withdrawal you may have under EU consumer law.

2. Scope

This policy covers paid subscriptions to MemPalace Cloud purchased at mempalace.cloud and processed through our payment provider Polar. Free plans, free trials, add-on credits, and one-off purchases are out of scope; the rules for those are described at the point of purchase.

3. 14-day refund window

Within 14 calendar days of your first charge for a given subscription, you may request a full refund of that charge. You do not need to give a reason. The 14-day window starts on the day the charge is made.

The 14-day refund applies once per subscription. Renewal charges (monthly or annual) at the end of an existing paid period are not covered.

4. Statutory right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you have a statutory right under Art. 246a EGBGB to withdraw from a distance contract for digital services within 14 days of conclusion of the contract, without giving a reason. This right is independent of the voluntary refund in section 3 and you may always rely on it. To exercise it, send a clear statement of your decision to [email protected]. We will refund all payments received from you, using the same payment method, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed.

5. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] from the address associated with your account. Include your customer ID or the order reference from your Polar receipt. Refunds are processed via Polar and typically appear on your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

If you purchased before July 2026, your receipt was issued by Paddle.com Market Limited, our previous merchant of record. Your refund and withdrawal rights are unaffected: email [email protected] with your Paddle receipt or order reference and we will arrange the refund directly with you if it can no longer be processed through Paddle.

6. Payment provider

Our payment provider Polar Software Inc. acts as the merchant of record for all paid subscriptions; the terms applicable to buyers, including refunds, are set out in Polar's terms. Where Polar's terms or local consumer protection law provide additional or non-waivable rights, the highest level of rights will always apply.
